What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect what you type into the form: your name, phone number, email address, the property address and suburb, your treatment plant brand and your message. When you become a client, we also keep the details we need to service your system and invoice you.
Why we collect it
We use your details to reply to you, quote and book work, send reminders and invoices, and meet council reporting requirements. After each service we give your name, address and system details to your council on the service report (Form 11), because the law requires it.
Who else has access
We do not sell your details or share them for marketing. They are stored securely with our database provider in Sydney, and the services we use to send texts and emails process the messages we send you. Some of those providers may process data outside Australia.
Spam protection
To prevent automated spam, the form retains a scrambled code derived from your internet address. It cannot be converted back into the address and is used only to limit the number of messages that can be sent in a short period.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and does not use analytics that follow you across the web.
Accessing or correcting your details
Contact us on 0495 096 532 or admin@effluentworks.com to access, correct or request deletion of the information we hold about you. Some records, such as service reports already lodged with council, must be retained.
