How a Krystel Kleer system works

Like most home aerated wastewater treatment systems (AWTS), a Krystel Kleer plant treats wastewater in stages. Solids settle and start breaking down in the first chamber. In the aeration chamber, a blower pushes air through diffusers so bacteria can treat the water. A clarifier lets the last of the solids settle out, then the treated water is disinfected with chlorine and pumped to your irrigation area.

  • Sludge levels measured
  • pH, chlorine and clarity tested
