How an Aqua-Nova system works

Aqua-Nova systems are home treatment plants designed to treat household wastewater on site. Like most home aerated wastewater treatment systems (AWTS), it treats wastewater in stages. Solids settle and start breaking down in the first chamber. In the aeration chamber, a blower pushes air through diffusers so bacteria can treat the water. A clarifier lets the last of the solids settle out, then the treated water is disinfected with chlorine and pumped to your irrigation area.

  • Pump, alarm and float switches
  • Chlorine tablets topped up
  • Sludge levels measured
  • pH, chlorine and clarity tested

  • Form 11 lodged with your council

Then we lodge your Form 11 with council and send you a copy.
